POSITION OVERVIEW
As a Content Strategist at Global Overview, you will be the bridge between creative, internal teams and our client base, developing and managing integrated marketing campaigns from start to finish. You will be responsible for developing the strategy behind each campaign, managing the creative process, and ensuring that the final product meets the client's objectives. To be successful in this role, you must be a strategic thinker with a passion for creativity, as well as a strong project manager who is able to juggle multiple projects at once. Responsibilities/Accountabilities
Understand and articulate the creative vision for a project, aligning it with client objectives
Develop an understanding of the target audience(s), their needs, and how they interact with the brand across touchpoints
Meet with clients to discuss their goals for an upcoming marketing campaign, then Developing marketing campaigns that are aligned with client expectations.
Developing marketing strategies that dictate the core methods of achieving the client's goals
Create documentation and write creative briefs that inspire and challenge teams to do their best work
Partner with cross-functional teams including UX, design, copywriting, and development to bring concepts to life
Coordinating goals with department heads responsible for enacting a marketing strategy
Present concepts and rationale to internal and external stakeholders, adjusting as needed based on feedback
Manage projects from start to finish, ensuring quality standards are met and deadlines are met
Conduct post-mortem analysis to identify areas of improvement for future projects
Encourage out-of-the-box thinking and challenge team members to think outside their comfort zones
Examining market and industry reports and identifying important trends
Creating strategic plans that outline how to achieve goals within a specific time frame
Monitoring the progress of marketing media throughout development
Tracking results of marketing strategies
Adjusting or ending marketing strategies if results are not meeting expectations
Strategizing ways to increase sales and brand awareness through marketing efforts such as social media campaigns or targeted advertisements
Stay up-to-date on industry trends and emerging technologies
Proactively share knowledge and best practices with team members
Continuously strive to improve processes and procedures
Knowledge/Skills Analysis: Ability to provide analysis identifying underserved markets or new approaches to existing markets and provides an advantage over competitors.
Communication: The ability to effectively convey information, both verbally and in writing, is a crucial skill for a creative strategist. When working with clients or supervisors, clear communication allows creative strategists to articulate their visions and plans.
Creativity: Ability to identify unique approaches that separate a client from its competitors and helps the client grow its market share.
Empathy: Ability to relate to potential consumers, allowing them to develop strategies from a consumer's perspective.
Inspiration: Ability to convince others to see their passion for an idea, making others believe in the idea as well, helping others to rally around an idea or concept.
Organization: An organized approach ensures that all elements work cohesively
Planning: Ability to clearly lay out the steps required to execute a marketing strategy, providing a logical progression from campaign creation to completion.
Requirements
Qualifications Bachelor's degree in advertising, marketing, communications, or related field
5+ years professional experience in advertising, marketing, or related field
Proven track record of developing and executing successful creative campaigns
Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills
Exceptional organizational and time management skills
Ability to work independently and with a team to meet deadlines
Prior Amazon Experience is required
Must be within a commutable distance of Tarrytown, NY, and available to be onsite at a client location at least once a month

Salary Description
$81,000-$110,000 + Bonus
