Position Overview:

Ulteum Companies is seeking a dynamic and visionary Community Design Lead to inspire and execute the overall design strategy of our developments. This pivotal role will oversee all aspects of a development's design process, ensuring projects meet the highest standards of innovation, quality, and awe-inspiring neighborhoods. The Community Design Lead will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders and lead external teams of architects, engineers, and other design professionals, ensuring alignment with Ulteum's vision and values.

Key Responsibilities:

Design Leadership:

  • Create the vision and drive the overall design strategy and components of Ulteum's real estate development projects, primarily consisting of highly amenitized Single Family neighborhoods.
  • Act as the primary liaison between Ulteum and external design partners, including architects, engineers, and design consultants.
  • Define key components of developments, including community land layouts, floor plan strategies, community amenities, finish selections, branding and signage, and key development features.

Project Oversight:

  • Manage the entire design process, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality work within budget constraints.
  • Oversee architectural and engineering documentation to maintain alignment with project goals and Ulteum's design standards.

Material & Finish Selection:

  • Lead selection process for construction materials and finishes, ensuring procurement of value engineered features that create awe inspiring results.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends to source innovative and cost-effective materials.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Work closely with development, construction, and marketing teams to ensure design integrity is upheld through all phases of each project.
  • Translate business objectives into design solutions that enhance project value and user experience.

Quality Assurance:

  • Uphold design excellence by conducting regular reviews and providing constructive feedback to external design teams.
  • Ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and sustainable design principles.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Construction, Management, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in design, interior design, architecture, marketing, or related roles within real estate development, construction, or design-focused industries.
  • Ability to lead complex design projects from concept through construction.
  • Strong knowledge of building materials, finishes, and construction methods.
  • Leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage and inspire diverse teams.
  • A deep passion for innovative design and creating community-oriented developments.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $72,294.00 - $104,896.00 per year

Experience:

  • 25% (Preferred)
