The Interiors Librarian oversees the MHTN interiors resource library and works closely with team members on specific projects with the potential to be involved in a wide range of project-related work including assisting designers with space planning, interior detailing, 3D modeling and materials research. A student actively pursuing an Interior Design degree would be the ideal candidate for this role.
The Interiors Librarian is responsible for maintaining the interiors resource library which includes fabric and product organization and sourcing, sorting, and returning fabrics and finishing samples to showrooms, and obtaining estimates from vendors. The right candidate will become well practiced in product and finish research and may assist Interior Designers in the selection of project materials as well as the creation of presentation materials and boards.
Other key tasks include aiding project installations and accessory staging. Communicating with vendors and scheduling product updates. Running miscellaneous errands as needed and assisting in the day-to-day maintenance of The Library.

This position is an hourly, overtime non-exempt position. This position starts at $23 an hour. We seek a candidate who could commit to working 10-15 hours a week in the Studio. This position is intended to be flexible to coincide with academic pursuits.

- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite preferred
- Communication and presentation skills preferred
- Basic understanding of Revit and Abode Create Suite preferred.
