Job Title: Marketing Administrator (analytics)

Client Location: San Diego, CA - REMOTE

Salary/Pay Rate: $23.00-$27.00/hour

Duration: 3-6 months (temp-to-perm)

Job Description:

Position Overview: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Marketing Administrator with a focus on analytics to join our team. In this role, you will support the Portfolio Marketing Directors with data analysis and reporting efforts, contributing to advertising business decisions for apartment communities. This position also involves administrative tasks, such as proofreading, copy editing, scheduling photography, and updating content, alongside your analytical duties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Data Analysis & Reporting: Collect, analyze, and interpret data from multiple platforms and sources. Create reports and dashboards to effectively communicate findings and insights to drive strategic decisions.
  • Marketing Support: Assist with digital auditing, reviewing and testing copy on vendor websites, and creating slide decks to summarize data and trends from advertising vendor platforms.
  • Market Research: Conduct competitor analysis and gather market information to guide advertising strategies and decision-making.
  • Data Cleaning & Integrity: Maintain data integrity by cleansing and organizing data to ensure its accuracy for reporting and analysis.
  • Vendor Collaboration: Work directly with vendors to resolve issues related to content, reporting, or data discrepancies. Complete monthly, quarterly, and year-end reports for various advertising vendors.
  • Administrative Support: Proofread, edit content, and assist with scheduling photography or other marketing needs. Manage internal tools and systems for content updates.
  • Ad Hoc Projects: Contribute to additional projects that support strategy and investment decisions, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.

Required Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Finance, Statistics, Economics, or a related field preferred.

Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in analytics or a related field. Property management or multifamily industry experience preferred.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
  • Knowledge of Google Product Suite (Analytics, AdWords, Search Console, etc.).
  • Experience with social networks (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok) and email marketing software (Mailchimp, Constant Contact, etc.).
  • Familiarity with Internet Listing Services (ILS) like Apartments.com, Zillow, and Apartment List.
  • Experience with Yardi RentCafe, Voyager Plus, or Voyager is a plus.

Core Skills:

  • Strong analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to identify trends and articulate insights to inform business strategies.
  • Strong visual presentation and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

Industry Knowledge: Understanding of the property management or multifamily industry.

Additional Experience: Experience with online marketing and content management systems for websites.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to type and sit for long periods (constant use of hands).
  • Occasional lifting of light items (up to 12 lbs.).
  • Primarily office-based role with no significant physical demands.
