Position Objective – The Digital Marketing Specialist will use best practices and optimization techniques to analyze, plan, write and measure engaging content that creates brand awareness, drives demand and promotes products and services across the brand’s website, ecommerce product pages and alike. This position will work collaboratively with internal teams and agency partners to drive campaign success across all channels – including search-engine optimized web copy, digital materials, paid media, print and event materials.

In this role, you will serve as a brand ambassador who can create original compelling content while also being comfortable editing material created by others. Our content must drive engagement, elevate SEO, help the brand maintain market leadership and convey the value we bring to customers. The ability to analyze data and convert that into marketing opportunities, attention to detail, commitment to customer/user experience, persistence and having an open and collaborative communication style are critical for success.

Responsibilities of the Digital Marketing Specialist:  

· Create compelling content for product pages, service pages, our blog, email, loyalty program, sms text messaging, collateral, presentations and video that is on brand and consistent with company message

· Support ecommerce by adding and updating products, photography, making price revisions and other web related tasks

· Create still and video web content for products, blog, landing pages, designer project profiles and more that are optimized for search (SEO), and be familiar with key elements such as titles, title tags, meta data, image naming and alt text, and keyword density

· Contribute to the editorial calendar and manage routine content dissemination for initiatives such as plant of the week, newsletters, promotions and more

· Create and manage promotional events, customer events, learning sessions and other community engagements

· Manage and grow digital asset library including messaging guides, graphics, product and services photography, infographics and more

· Create and oversee brand signage and installation at various retail locations under the direction of leadership

· Support online reputation and serve as a customer experience advocate by responding to online reviews, managing escalations and interacting directly with customers through various digital channels

· Establish rapport with branch teams including bidirectional communication channels, receive feedback and build symbiotic relationships

· Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

· Minimum three years’ experience working in marketing for a brand or agency

· Contain copywriting skills and familiar with targeting consumers across a multitude of marketing channels such as website, ecommerce, email and more.

· Excellent spelling and grammar skills a must

· Experience with graphic design and editing, Adobe Creative and Canva preferred

· Understanding of email marketing best practices and their application

· Photography and videography skills a plus, drone experience a plus

· Attention to detail with a keen eye for esthetics

· Must be able to work both independently and as a team

· Must be comfortable giving and receiving constructive feedback across various marcom initiatives

· Reliable transportation and ability to travel to multiple store locations across Northeast Florida as needed

· Comfortable working in a shared-office environment

· Ability to work one weekend day per pay period
