Position Overview:

We are seeking a results-driven General Manager to oversee the operations of our meat production factory, with a primary focus on driving sales growth and expanding market share. Key Responsibilities:

Sales Growth and Business Development:

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to increase revenue and market penetration.
  • Identify new business opportunities, including market trends, emerging customer needs, and potential partnerships.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, distributors, and retailers.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to set realistic and achievable sales targets.
  • Evaluate pricing strategies to remain competitive while ensuring profitability.

Operational Leadership:

  • Oversee the daily operations of the meat production factory, ensuring compliance with industry standards, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements.
  • Optimize production processes to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Manage inventory levels to balance customer demand with production capacity.
  • Monitor the quality assurance program to uphold product excellence and consistency.

Team Leadership and Development:

  • Lead, coach, and motivate a multidisciplinary team, including operations, sales, and support staff.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and innovation.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and implement professional development initiatives.

Financial Management:

  • Prepare and manage budgets to align with business objectives.
  • Analyze financial performance and sales metrics to guide strategic decision-making.
  • Control operational costs and implement measures to improve profitability.

Marketing and Branding:

  • Collaborate with the marketing team to enhance brand visibility and customer loyalty.
  • Develop promotional campaigns and strategies to increase product awareness.
  • Represent the company at trade shows, industry events, and networking opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, Food Science, or a related field (MBA preferred).
  • Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in a leadership role within the meat production, food manufacturing, or related industry, with a proven track record in sales growth.
  • Skills:

  • Operational management expertise in a manufacturing or production environment.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
