Job Description
We are seeking a results-driven Marketing Manager with a strong background in B2B marketing and logistics. This role is essential for developing and executing strategies to grow our brand, enhance customer engagement, and drive business growth. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in digital marketing, content strategy, and lead generation, particularly within the freight, logistics, or transportation industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Brand Strategy & Development:
Create and implement a comprehensive brand strategy aligned with business goals to differentiate our brand in the competitive freight brokerage market.Digital Marketing:
Manage online campaigns across various platforms, including Google Ads, social media, and email marketing. Optimize website performance and lead SEO/SEM strategies to improve visibility and lead generation.Content Creation & Management:
Develop engaging content (e.g., blog posts, case studies, white papers, videos, and infographics) to establish thought leadership and support lead generation efforts.Lead Generation & Nurturing:
Oversee lead generation strategies, including paid campaigns, email marketing, and webinars. Design and execute strategies to nurture leads through the sales funnel.Analytics & Reporting:
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide regular performance reports to measure success and adjust strategies accordingly.Market Research:
Stay informed about market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to continuously refine marketing strategies.Collaboration:
Work closely with Sales, Operations, and senior leadership to ensure marketing strategies align with business objectives. Support the sales team with collateral, presentations, and other marketing materials.Event Management:
Organize and manage industry events, trade shows, and webinars to boost brand awareness and generate new business opportunities.
Qualifications:
Experience:
- Minimum 4+ years of experience in marketing, preferably within the freight, logistics, or transportation industries.
- Proven track record of success in developing and executing multi-channel marketing strategies, including digital marketing, content creation, and lead generation.
Skills:
- Expertise in SEO/SEM, email marketing platforms, social media marketing, Google Analytics, and content management systems (CMS).
- Familiarity with CRM tools and marketing automation platforms is a plus.
- Strong Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication abilities, with a knack for crafting compelling messages for diverse audiences.
- Creative Thinker: Ability to develop creative campaigns that capture attention and drive results.
- Analytical Mindset: Strong ability to analyze data, derive insights, and make data-driven decisions.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
- MBA or additional marketing certifications are a plus.
