Dynamic Music Company is looking to hire MULTIPLE Law Clerk's (HYBIRD) to support the Legal & Business Affairs Department for a music company.

The Law Clerk is primarily responsible for helping to streamline and manage the day-to-day operations, the position will require regular interaction with internal departments including Legal, IT Operations, Royalty Services, and Accounting, as well as external stakeholders.

Education: Bachelor’s degree REQUIRED

Qualifications:
· Extreme detail orientation balanced with sound practical judgment
· Collegial attitude and ability to interact with internal and external stakeholders cordially and professionally
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Ability to learn fast and retain detailed information and instructions
· General understanding of music metadata, licensing and reporting principles; and
· Creativity, innovative thinking, and a self-starting work ethic.

Preferred:
· Experience in project management
· Experience interpreting complex licensing agreements, ideally in the music industry
· Knowledge of music publishers, administrators, collecting societies, and labels
· Royalty administration experience in the entertainment industry
· Understanding of music metadata standards and data exchange protocols; and/or
· Paralegal experience.

Responsibilities:
· Tracking agreements between the company and its vendors and clients
· Tracking client license agreements the company is responsible for administering
· Reviewing and accurately digesting relevant agreement terms and communicating them to relevant internal and external stakeholders
· Supporting the business development team with nondisclosure agreements management
· Assisting Legal in the preparation of draft documents and agreements
· Anticipating and communicating need for new or specialized compliance processes
· Assisting the monitoring of new client onboarding and compliance with service agreements
· Coordinating complex agreement compliance requirements among internal departments
