As the public relations and digital content arm of our team, you will play a pivotal role in driving brand visibility, managing media relationships, and creating compelling content that reflects our values and vision. This position is ideal for a self-starter with a passion for media and public relations who thrives in a fast-paced, remote environment. Your primary focus will be securing media placements, engaging with influencers and journalists, and enhancing our digital presence through strategic PR campaigns. You will also help create and manage content that promotes our lifestyle and entertainment publication, while ensuring that our messaging aligns seamlessly across platforms. Key Highlights of the Role:
Work Autonomously:
As a remote, commission-based role, you will have the flexibility to set your own pace while meeting deadlines and KPIs. Drive Media Engagement:
You will take the lead in pitching to media outlets, drafting press releases, and building strong relationships with journalists and influencers. Creative Content Creation:
From blog posts to social media updates, you will craft engaging narratives that resonate with our target audience. Event Coordination and Support:
Play a hands-on role in organizing events such as product launches, virtual panels, and media meet-and-greets, ensuring they run smoothly and leave a lasting impact. Collaborate with Visionaries:
You will work closely with our editorial, marketing, and social media teams to align strategies and amplify our brand voice. Just N Life , and clients that we represent or service. Maintain and update media contact lists, including journalists, influencers, and media outlets, to ensure accurate and efficient outreach. Develop and pitch engaging stories to media outlets and influencers to secure coverage, enhance brand visibility, and establish authority for
Nekia Nichelle, LLC , its subsidiaries, and its clients. Create and execute PR campaigns that align with the objectives of the company and its clients, maximizing exposure and audience reach. Monitor and engage with social media comments, mentions, and direct messages to foster community engagement and increase brand awareness. Develop and schedule social media content that supports PR efforts, promotional campaigns, and breaking news updates for our company and clients. Coordinate and manage events, including launches, panels, and meet-and-greets, to promote the company, its clients, and their respective brands. Prepare digital and physical media kits for press engagements and ensure that resources are readily available during events. Conduct research on trending topics, competitor PR strategies, and industry opportunities to keep

and its clients ahead of the curve. Monitor and track media coverage to evaluate the success of PR campaigns, compiling performance reports for internal and client review. Collaborate with editorial, social media, and marketing teams to ensure consistency in PR messaging and overall content strategy. Write engaging blog posts and editorial content that aligns with the company's brand voice and supports PR and visibility objectives. Schedule meetings, interviews, and manage PR-related inquiries to ensure seamless communication between stakeholders. Stay updated on entertainment and lifestyle trends to provide innovative ideas for enhancing the visibility of
Nekia Nichelle, LLC , its subsidiaries, and its clients. Report on social media analytics and PR outcomes to track performance and refine strategies, driving stronger results for the company and its clients. Requirements
Knowledge of PR, digital content creation, and social media trends. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines. Experience with event coordination and media pitching is a plus. Follow pop culture and trends. Own or have access to a computer and internet. Extremely detail-oriented and level-headed under pressure. Ability to conduct thorough research and synthesize information into engaging articles. Graduate with a desire for continued adult learning or currently enrolled in a relevant degree program (e.g., Journalism, English, Communications). Excellent time management and organizational skills. Exceptional communication and problem-solving skills. Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
