Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Marketing Insights Manager to inform and influence the global marketing and business strategy of a leading technology company. This role involves overseeing a team of Insights professionals and directing their day-to-day operations. This individual will be responsible for providing actionable insights to shape marketing and business strategies across various markets, products, and services, with a focus on both B2B and B2C customers. They will work cross-functionally with marketing, sales, product, and business insights teams to ensure these insights are effectively integrated.

Responsibilities
  • Drive development and implementation of a comprehensive customer insights strategy aligned with marketing and business leader's goals and objectives.
  • Oversee a global team of customer research and intelligence professionals, directing their day-to-day operations including management of staffing, deveopment and mentorship for the team, maintaining workflow and project prioritization, and budget.
  • Provide guidance and support the team to develop cohesive customer research programs with actionable recommendations to support marketing and strategic planning.
  • Analyze and interpret data from multiple sources to develop a comprehensive understanding of customer behavior and needs across B2B and B2C audiences .
  • Partner with local marketing teams to shape go-to-market strategies, define target audiences, and develop effective messaging and positioning for product and solutions portfolios.
  • Create and deliver compelling presentations to communicate insights and recommendations to senior leaders and stakeholders across the organization
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in insights and data analytics.


Education, Experience, Knowledge, Skills:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in marketing, economics, business, statistics, psychology, communications, or a related field
  • 10+ yrs of experience in research and insights (B2B experience preferred)
  • Master knowledge of marketing principles, practices, tactics and tools.
  • Mastery knowledge of research vendor management, agency practices and procedures.
  • Thorough knowledge of research methodologies/ practices.
  • Ability to extrapolate future trends from current information.
  • Ability to manage complex situations that involve multiple market segments/product offerings.
  • Excellent written and oral communications skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills; ability to build, manage and influence virtual teams.
  • Excellent negotiating skills.
  • Ability to interface effectively with all levels of management and functional disciplines.
  • Excellent influencing, consensus-building and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience working with global and local marketing and business teams to develop insights and strategies.

The base pay range for this role is $146,650 - $225,850 annually with additional opportunities for pay in the form of bonus and/or equity (applies to US candidates only). Pay varies by work location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
