You'll lead with bold, strategic ideas, exceptional writing and messaging, and innovative thinking while guiding the team to deliver outstanding work and fostering strong relationships through clear communication and creative leadership. A key focus of your role will be driving content for a key animal health account, transforming companion care and veterinary services through technology and forward-thinking solutions. We're looking for someone with a dynamic background rooted in strategy and writing, and experience in B2B and/or Healthcare eager to learn new industries. What You'll Do:Lead creative copy and content direction, specifically in our Animal Health client portfolio, by writing directly when needed and overseeing others to ensure alignment and excellence across all deliverables:Oversee and manage multiple copy projects, guiding teams through the creative process from concept development to final production.Develop and execute comprehensive content strategies that align with business objectives, target audience insights, and brand voice, ensuring cohesive storytelling across platforms.Create and maintain messaging hierarchies and frameworks, to deliver clear, cohesive, and scalable communication across campaigns, assets, and platforms.Craft and refine core messages for products, services, and campaigns, tailoring them to resonate with various audience segments and across different platformsBrief copywriters and guide them to develop best-in-class strategic copy and applications across digital content, print, packaging, and experiential touchpoints.Drive strategic creative efforts by facilitating client workshops, developing brand messaging architectures, and crafting recommendations that align with marketing and sales goals while addressing client challenges.Become an expert on our clients and their challenges. Actively explore our clients and their specific industries, developing fluency in therapeutics, diagnostic tools, audiences, and languageBuild trust and guide senior-level clients through the creative process, confidently facilitating conversations with C-suite stakeholders and holding responsibility for the executed deliverables.Contribute to new business proposals and pitches, helping grow the agency's profile and our client portfolio.Help shape our agency processes and our overall approach to positioning the agency relative to our competitors.Manage and senior team members, providing guidance, fostering professional growth, and ensuring alignment with agency and professional development goals.What You'll Bring:10+ years of agency-based brand and campaign creative experience, with at least 2 years experience working in Healthcare. Animal Health experience is a huge plus.You live in the NYC area and are excited about in-person collaboration and building a team.You have exceptionally high standards for the creative process, your output, and your team's output, demonstrating meticulous attention to detail in every task. At the same time, you excel in creative, strategic writing and pushing creative boundaries.You're a critical thinker and natural storyteller with exceptional narrative-building skills, crafting concise and impactful communication across all mediums-internally, externally, and in every deck and asset.You have a history of facilitating, presenting to, and helping guide senior leadership clients.You work well under pressure, and excel at self-managing while guiding others to deliver exceptional work. As we continue to grow, we enhance our benefits package to meet the needs of our team.The salary range for this role is $135,000 - $150,000 with a preference for contract-to-permanent candidates to ensure a mutual fit. However, full-time candidates are also welcome and encouraged to apply. This role is based in NYC (Brooklyn) with a flexible hybrid work schedule.
