The EHR Report Writer will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing reports within EHR systems, supporting data-driven decision-making for healthcare operations. The ideal candidate will have experience with SQL and EHR platforms like CREDIBLE, AVATAR, and/or SETWORKS. This role requires close collaboration with clinical teams, IT staff, and administrative departments to ensure data accuracy and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and optimize SQL-based reports within EHR systems.
- Extract, transform, and analyze data to meet business and regulatory reporting needs.
- Ensure data integrity, validation, and consistency across multiple systems.
- Work closely with clinical and administrative teams to understand reporting requirements.
- Maintain documentation of report structures, queries, and workflows.
- Support ad-hoc reporting requests and data analysis for decision-making.
- Troubleshoot and resolve data discrepancies within EHR databases.
- Stay up to date with regulatory requirements related to healthcare reporting.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in health informatics, Data Analytics, or a related field.
- Experience:
- Proficiency in SQL query development and relational database management.
- Hands-on experience with EHR systems (CREDIBLE, AVATAR, and/or SETWORKS).
- Strong understanding of healthcare reporting standards and compliance requirements.
- Experience with system integrations, including API connections and data synchronization
- Ability to analyze and interpret complex data sets for actionable insights.
