Production Artist – Electronics Manufacturing Industry

QUICK FACTS

• Location: San Diego, CA 92131
• Pay range: $25-35/hr
• Hours: 20-40 hours per week, depending on project need
• Contract 3-4 months

EXPERIENCE YOU WILL NEED

• Minimum 1-3 years of experience working in a design environment (Graphic Design, Digital Media, or similar field)
• Bachelor’s degree in fine art, graphic communications, marketing, or a related field
• Proficiency with MS Office and Adobe Creative Suite
• Knowledge of photography, photo editing, and retouching techniques in Photoshop

MAIN DUTIES OF THE JOB

• Projects include technical documentation datasheets, user guides, welcome booklets, posters, marketing brochures, and social media graphics.
• Modify designs as needed, guaranteeing designs meet quality standards and brand guidelines.
• Craft visual elements by creating logos, images, and other visual elements for technical publications, marketing materials, etc.

• Project manage graphic design projects using Basecamp PM tool, including tracking job progress and meeting deadlines.
