About the Role
The Company is seeking an Executive Director of Media Relations with a strong background in strategic counsel and speechwriting, particularly in the context of issues management. Applicants must have 10-20 years' of experience in a similar capacity, with a demonstrated ability to collaborate with high-level academic and administrative leadership. The role demands a comprehensive knowledge of technology and the ability to fully utilize new media. A Master's degree with an emphasis in relevant fields is preferred, and a background in a complex, global environment is a plus. The ideal candidate will have a strong strategic orientation, a commitment to excellence, and the ability to manage multiple tasks with attention to detail. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build effective relationships are essential, as is the ability to handle information with sensitivity and discretion.
