The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing message strategy, managing a team that engages in press outreach and social media, and leading efforts to educate and mobilize young Americans. This role involves crafting principal communications, donor messaging, and political and advocacy messaging, and requires a strategic approach to communication programs and campaigns. The VP of Communications will also be involved in message testing, narrative development, and ensuring that the organization's efforts are aligned with the needs and interests of young voters. Candidates for the Vice President of Communications position at the company should have a passion for politics and progressive social change, with at least two election cycles of experience in managing a communications team within a campaign or advocacy environment.
