Director of Marketing

Overview: Do you want to own the marketing function for a growing industrial company near Portsmouth? They have been outsourcing the marketing for years and this is your opportunity to take it in house, create the new marketing plan, and then implement it. There are some outside vendors to assist with email campaigns, website content and administration, and social media but you will be the liaison and will work closely with them. It is a great opportunity for a Marketing Manager to step into a Director role. To thrive in this role, you must be both strategic to build a plan but also tactical to do the work because you are the only person in the department. You will have experience developing campaigns, driving engagement and leads, analyzing marketing efforts, creating sales collateral/marketing materials, and managing outside vendors. You may have been/are the only person in marketing so you're doing everything or you may have been/are working at a large company and moved around to different marketing roles but now want to work for a smaller company where you can be involved with all of it. Either way, you should love marketing and want to bring your knowledge to a rapidly growing company where you can make a real difference in that growth. Experience at a distribution company, ideally an industrial one, is a huge plus.
