As a key member of our leadership team, you will oversee message strategies, manage an engaged team focused on press outreach and social media, and lead initiatives aimed at educating and mobilizing young Americans. Your responsibilities will include crafting core communications, donor messaging, and advocacy narratives, all while implementing strategic communication programs and campaigns. This role requires a creative thinker who can conduct message testing, develop compelling narratives, and ensure alignment with the priorities of young voters. To excel in this position, you should have a passion for politics and progressive social change, accompanied by at least two election cycles of experience managing a communications team within a campaign or advocacy setting. A deep understanding of the political media landscape, experience in social media strategy, and a proven project management track record are essential. You will also need experience in pitching to reporters, securing TV appearances, and collaborating with diverse media outlets; familiarity with digital paid media strategies is a plus.
