SLT Social Media Manager
SLT is a well-established, yet rapidly expanding boutique fitness company seeking a Social Media Manager to join our corporate team in NYC. Reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer, this role will be responsible for the management of SLTs social media accounts. This role provides a tremendous opportunity to leverage the power of social media to showcase the brand, product, and SLT experience in a way that engages new & existing clients, expands our base demographic, and creates excitement around the brandultimately driving interest & sales.
A strong fit for this role should have an interest in fitness, a comprehensive understanding of the social media landscape and functionality of all mainstream social media platforms, and an ability to connect with the SLT team and community.
Responsibilities:
- Content Creation & Management: Own the content creation process from start to finish:
- Generating ideas for visuals, captions, and all other content
- Capturing high quality audio/video content
- Editing and executing all post-production elements
- Posting with optimal timing, cadence and frequency
- Client Engagement: Respond promptly to DMs and, where appropriate, comment with the intention of cultivating interest in the brand and filling the sales funnel.
- Cross-Functional Support: Work with members of the SLTeam to understand company value-add initiatives and strategies, and determine best ways to leverage social media to support: promoting new class times, new studio openings, monthly promotions & campaigns.
- Performance Analysis: Track and analyze performance of content and posts across all platforms, report results to leadership, and work to adjust strategies accordingly.
Experience:
- 1-2 years managing social media accounts for a company or brand
- 1-2 years of video editing experience
Skills:
- Self-starter able to develop creative ideas and take ownership of execution
- Strong verbal and written communication skills able to communicate ideas and plans of execution in a clear, concise manner
- Mastery of Instagram & TikTok
- Strong familiarity with Youtube, X, Reddit, Pinterest, and an ability to quickly learn any new platforms, as needed
- Familiarity with creative software such as Canva, Adobe Photoshop, etc.
- Video editing expertise: Ability to capture high quality audio, visual framing, and post-production elements
- Experience with basic data analytics
Work Requirements:
- 40+ hour work week
- Ability to work flexible hours (including weekends)
- Travel to studios as required
