Content Marketing Manager β Payments/FinTech (Confidential Company, Remote β U.S. Only)
A leading provider of payment processing solutions is seeking a Content Marketing Manager to drive account-based marketing (ABM) strategies and create high-impact content that engages key decision-makers in the lending and payments industry . This role is critical in supporting direct sales and channel partner initiatives , ensuring content aligns with revenue-driving marketing objectives.
Job Summary
The Content Marketing Manager will develop and execute targeted content strategies that support sales, optimize demand generation, and enhance brand positioning. This role collaborates closely with Sales, Product, and Digital Marketing teams to create compelling content that effectively communicates complex financial products and payment solutions .
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a content strategy aligned with ABM initiatives to support direct sales and channel partnerships.
- Create engaging industry-specific content , including solution briefs, blogs, email campaigns, digital ads, eBooks, webinars, and website content .
- Optimize content across multiple channels to drive lead generation and customer engagement .
- Develop content that nurtures target accounts through the sales funnel , from awareness to conversion.
- Work with Sales Leadership and Product Marketing to develop sales enablement materials such as case studies, pitch decks, and solution one-pagers .
- Leverage 6Sense intent data tools to craft targeted content that aligns with buyer signals and improves lead conversion rates.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams to maintain consistent messaging and brand positioning.
- Manage content calendars, project workflows, and approvals using Asana or similar project management tools .
- Stay informed on industry trends, fintech innovations, and regulatory compliance to ensure content remains relevant and effective.
Qualifications
Required:
- 5+ years of B2B content marketing experience (preferably in payments, lending, fintech, or B2B SaaS ).
- Proven expertise in ABM content strategy and familiarity with 6Sense or similar buyer intent platforms .
- Strong understanding of lending and payments industry trends, buyer personas, and customer pain points .
- Experience translating complex financial solutions into clear, compelling value propositions.
- Excellent writing, editing, and storytelling skills tailored for B2B audiences .
Preferred:
- Experience with HubSpot Marketing Hub, CMS platforms (WordPress), and SEO optimization .
- Familiarity with AI-driven content tools (ChatGPT, Jasper, Copy.ai) for content creation and optimization.
- Strong analytical skills to measure content performance and campaign effectiveness .
