SUMMARY
The Product Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies that drive acquisition, retention, and engagement for Pilates Anytime and Yoga Anytime. This role requires a deep understanding of the digital landscape, a data-driven approach, creative thinking, and a passion for health and wellness, especially Pilates and yoga.
You will collaborate closely with product, content, marketing, and analytics teams to develop and execute campaigns that highlight the unique value proposition of our service and drive key business objectives.
Ideally you are a leader, have experience managing across departments, an eye for beauty and detail, and sincerely enjoy working as a part of a team. You are comfortable managing established brands and launching new ones. This role reports directly to the CEO.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Product Positioning & Messaging:
- Develop and refine clear, compelling product positioning and messaging that resonates with target audiences.
- Craft persuasive marketing materials, including website copy, in-app messaging, email campaigns, and advertising creative.
- Articulate the value proposition of new features and content releases to drive user adoption.
Go-to-Market Strategy:
- Lead the development and execution of go-to-market strategies for new product features, content launches, and platform updates.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless product launches and effective communication.
- Develop and manage product marketing calendars and timelines.
Subscriber Growth & Retention:
- Develop and implement paid marketing campaigns to drive subscriber acquisition and retention.
- Analyze subscriber data and identify opportunities to improve engagement and reduce churn.
- Optimize in-app messaging and user onboarding experiences to enhance user satisfaction.
- Manage spend of marketing campaigns, ensuring efficient allocation of resources.
- Work closely with the Lifecycle team to create targeted and automated email campaigns.
Competitive Analysis & Market Research:
- Conduct ongoing competitive analysis to identify market trends, competitor strategies, and opportunities for growth, innovation, and differentiation.
- Gather and analyze user feedback to inform product development and marketing initiatives.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest trends in the SVOD and fitness app industry.
Performance Measurement & Reporting:
- Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of product marketing campaigns.
- Analyze data and generate reports to provide insights and recommendations for optimization.
- Provide regular updates to stakeholders on campaign performance and product marketing initiatives.
Collaboration:
- Work closely with the product team to understand the roadmap and new features.
- Collaborate with the content team to align marketing strategies with content releases.
- Collaborate with the production team to produce the necessary assets.
- Align the paid and organic marketing efforts to ensure consistent messaging and brand alignment.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in product marketing, preferably in the SVOD or digital media industry.
- Proven track record of driving subscriber growth and engagement.
- Experience with paid advertising platforms (e.g., Google Ads, Meta Ads).
- Knowledge of SEO and app store optimization (ASO).
- Proficiency in marketing analytics (e.g., Mixpanel) tools and platforms (e.g., Klavyio).
- Experience with A/B testing.
- Strong understanding of the SVOD landscape and consumer behavior.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Exceptional copywriting skills that translate across mediums.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Passion for health and wellness, especially Pilates and yoga.
- Live within a 45 minute drive to Ojai, California.
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
Compensation depends on experience and ranges from $35 per hour to $50 per hour. Benefits package consists of PTO, healthcare, and 401(k) savings plan with a company match. Working days are Monday through Friday, 9:00am to 5:30pm PST.
