Position Summary:
The Channel Marketing Manager will have a diverse set of responsibilities leading best-in-class consumer and customer activation initiatives and executional support of our strategic growth plan for our Retail and Commercial channels. This is an exciting role that requires a versatile individual with high-level ambitions, a bias to action, and strong business acumen. Individuals must be able to effectively multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
Specific Responsibilities:
- Accountable to drive and deliver POS sell-through and market share gains.
- Be the voice of the consumer when developing channel strategies
- Develop and execute comprehensive category management programs within the channels
- Help define and determine advertising budget and plan for the channel
- Develop and lead customers and consumer brand and/or promotional activations (e.g., digital, print, in-store)
- Determine promotions and set calendar of promotional events by brand & product and across accounts· Liaison between Marketing and Sales
- Act as primary contact with team members for the category or Partner with Account Manager as appropriate on customer specific requirements
- Develop and present SKU offering, new products and concepts, planograms, web, and promotional offerings in tangent with Account Manager
- Lead cross functional team for marketing portion of line reviews including product recommendations, presentation materials, line review support, internal alignment meetings, product samples, collateral, and activation plans.
- Manage new product launch campaigns including the development of launch plans for initial sell-in and execution.
- Plan and execute customer and/or industry trade shows
- Provide project leadership within cross-functional teams to drive channel results
- Collaborate with Product Marketing to identify new product opportunities
- Drive product development projects specific to channel or customers being managed
- Coordinate pricing strategy implementation for channel/account level
- Provide annual/seasonal: Competitive product, pricing, promotional analytics
- Customer & category analytics
- Consumer need gaps and emerging trends
- Input on strategies and budgets for account planning
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in product, brand, trade or channel marketing and new product launches
- Experience converting market data and research or learning into actionable strategies/results.
- Proficient in Power Point and Excel for data analysis and reporting.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective cross-functional collaboration
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to collaborate effectively in a cross-functional team environment
- Ability to effectively multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) industry experience preferred

- An annual salary range of: $100,000-$120,000
