This role can start as a FTE consulting position, with the potential to convert to a full-time role, with serious equity options, or start as a FTE and convert to W2 in 90 days.

Who We Are

Great Gums is a  venture-backed DTC brand transforming oral care with patented bioelectric toothbrush technology. We’ve already seen strong early traction and are looking for a  growth-obsessed marketer to scale our U.S. business.

What You’ll Do

  • Own and execute all paid media strategies —across Meta/Paid Social, YouTube, Google, and any emerging channels that will profitably scale our CAC.
  • Develop and optimize our customer acquisition strategy —analyzing performance data, testing ad creatives, and refining audience segmentation to ensure efficient spend.
  • Drive e-commerce growth —through strategic funnel improvements, conversion rate optimization (CRO), and AOV/LTV expansion strategies.
  • Run data-driven performance marketing —track and optimize key KPIs (CAC, ROAS, AOV, LTV) with a relentless focus on  scaling efficiently.
  • Oversee media buying strategy —with hands-on execution where needed to ensure the right mix of acquisition channels.
  • Leverage analytics tools (GA4, Shopify, Meta Ads Manager, etc.)to understand what’s working, where we’re leaking revenue, and how to improve performance.
  • Identify and test new acquisition channels that can drive sustained growth beyond Meta and Google (YouTube, Reddit, partnerships, etc.).
  • Help oversee a functioning ecommerce and fulfillment system and

What We’re Looking For

  • You must have experience scaling a consumer health brand. We’re not looking for someone with only e-commerce experience—you should understand  health and wellness consumers and what drives their decision-making.
  • 5+ years in DTC performance marketing, with a proven track record of scaling customer acquisition at a profitable CAC. We are only a few dollars away from turning on the marketing machine and being break even on one toothbrush sold
  • Deep expertise in paid media, conversion optimization, and retention strategies —you know how to balance acquisition and LTV growth.
  • An analytical mindset. You live and breathe data, and decisions should be backed by performance insights.
  • Hands-on experience with GA4, Shopify, and major paid media platforms (Meta, Google, YouTube, and beyond).
  • A data hacker who knows how to extract insights from Shopify plug-ins instead of relying on enterprise level BI tools.
  • Someone who lives and breathes the data—can rattle off CAC, ROAS, and LTV without hesitation and understands how to connect paid media performance to overall business outcomes.
  • Not a content creator —this role is focused on growth execution, not producing ads or organic creative.
  • AI-driven mindset —excited about onboarding and testing AI tools to optimize spend, improve targeting, and scale performance.
  • Deep experience across multiple ad platforms —Meta, Google, TikTok, programmatic display, Pinterest, OTT, Reddit, and stays ahead of new ad platforms and trends.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit , comfortable working in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment (if you haven't worked at an early-stage company and aren't a self-starter--then um, no)
  • Ability to meet with our team in San Francisco a few times per month (this is critical).
