The Senior Director of Marketing is responsible for leading the planning, scaling, evaluation, and development of paid and unpaid customer programs, full-funnel marketing, and digital lead generation. In partnership with leadership and sales, the Senior Director will develop and present marketing strategies for both existing and potential clients. The ideal candidate will have direct sales experience, as the marketing initiatives must drive conversions, it's not just about promotions, but about turning strategies into measurable results.
This role requires a strategic, creative thinker and a data-driven decision-maker, with the ability to lead in a fast-paced, evolving environment while ensuring all marketing efforts translate to tangible outcomes.
Formulate marketing campaigns targeting customer acquisition, retention and reactivation.
Direct the management of digital lead generation campaigns in collaboration with third-party vendors.
Lead the creation and execution of e-commerce product marketing strategies to drive revenue without incurring operational expenses.
Conduct thorough analysis of past marketing expenditures and performance to inform budgeting decisions.
Monitor and track marketing spending, providing regular updates on budget utilization and variances.
Identify cost-saving opportunities and efficiency improvements while maintaining marketing effectiveness.
Work closely with marketing leader to allocate resources strategically across various channels and campaigns.
Harness data analytics to optimize product pricing and promotional strategies, contributing to revenue maximization.
Utilize CRM and other Martech platforms to streamline and personalize sales and marketing efforts.
Foster cross-functional collaboration to seamlessly align marketing strategies with overarching business goals and objectives.
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business or a related field
~ Possess a minimum of 5-7 years of extensive marketing experience with a proven track record in customer acquisition, engagement and retention
~3+ years in a management level position with staff oversight
~ Experience managing and overseeing third party marketing agencies and other vendor relationships
~ Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
~ Proficiency in industry leading marketing automation tools
~ Up to 25% travel US (domestic and international)
