Job Summary
The Global VP of Marketing will drive ViX Paula Hermanny’s growth by developing and executing a comprehensive global marketing strategy that strengthens the brand’s connection with its customers. This US-based position is responsible for all marketing efforts outside of Brazil, overseeing brand management, digital marketing, PR, and multi-channel campaigns in the US, Europe, and any new markets ViX expands into.
In this role, the VP will collaborate closely with the Brazil team to set the overall direction for global campaigns and ensure a cohesive brand message across all regions. They will spearhead the execution of multi-channel marketing strategies, leveraging internal teams and external partners to maximize brand awareness, customer engagement, and sales performance.
Additionally, this role will continuously explore new opportunities for growth, keeping ViX at the forefront of industry trends and innovation. The VP will be responsible for identifying and implementing strategies that support the company’s global expansion, ensuring ViX establishes a strong, lasting presence in new territories while optimizing marketing efforts for each market’s unique landscape.
This is a remote role, but candidates must reside within Los Angeles or San Diego to facilitate collaboration with key business teams and partners.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a global marketing strategy to strengthen brand awareness and customer engagement in the US, Europe, and new international markets.
- Oversee all marketing efforts outside of Brazil, ensuring a cohesive approach to branding, digital marketing, PR, and retail marketing.
- Collaborate with the Brazil team to align global campaigns while adapting strategies for regional markets.
- Lead multi-channel marketing initiatives, integrating digital, social media, influencer partnerships, email, SMS, PR, and retail activations.
- Ensure customer-facing communications are on-brand, culturally relevant, and optimized for different international markets.
- Analyze customer insights, market trends, and competitor strategies to refine and improve marketing efforts.
- Develop and manage strategic brand collaborations with influencers, media, and key partners to enhance global visibility.
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure and optimize global marketing effectiveness.
- Spearhead the development and execution of global campaigns, ensuring alignment with ViX’s brand identity and growth objectives.
- Oversee content calendars, email marketing, SMS campaigns, and digital initiatives, tailoring messaging for each region.
- Work closely with creative and design teams to produce high-quality advertising, digital content, and in-store marketing materials.
- Partner with regional teams and external agencies to execute campaigns across retail, e-commerce, and wholesale channels.
- Maintain a strong omnichannel marketing approach, ensuring a seamless and engaging brand experience across all platforms.
- Oversee ViX’s global PR strategy, managing relationships with PR agencies and media partners to maximize brand exposure.
- Stay ahead of global marketing regulations (GDPR, CCPA, CASL) and digital trends to ensure compliance and continued innovation.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field (MBA preferred);
- 8+ years of experience in marketing management, with a proven track record of leading successful marketing teams;
- Experience working in a global marketing environment, with a strong understanding of international consumer behavior and market-specific strategies;
- Strong experience in brand management, digital marketing, PR, and multi-channel campaigns;
- Experience managing external agencies, influencers, and media partnerships;
- Background in luxury, fashion, or lifestyle brands is a plus;
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment;
- Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute data-driven marketing plans;
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience mentoring high-performing teams;
- Expertise in multi-channel marketing, including digital, email, social media, and retail;
- Ability to analyze marketing data and consumer insights to optimize strategies;
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present to senior leadership;
- Strong understanding of PR, media relations, and influencer marketing;
- Ability to identify and capitalize on market trends to keep ViX ahead of the competition;
- Experience in budget management and ROI analysis for marketing campaigns;
- Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple initiatives;
- Proactive, self-motivated, and comfortable working in a remote environment;
- Proficiency in marketing analytics platforms, ESPs, and campaign performance tracking tools;
- Working knowledge of Photoshop, design software, and digital marketing platforms;
- Familiarity with email marketing regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA, CASL) and best practices;
- Understanding of SEO, SEM, and paid media strategies; and
- Knowledge of HTML is a plus.
