Location: Walnut, CaliforniaJob Type: PermanentCompensation Range: $80,000 - 100,000 per yearWe're seeking a Director of Brand Communications to lead PR and communications strategy across all media channels. Reporting to the AVP of Marketing, you'll ensure consistent messaging, collaborate on innovative media strategies, and drive brand awareness and engagement. You'll also oversee integrated marketing communications, focusing on operational excellence and delivering strong year-over-year results.Responsibilities:Accountable for developing, implementing, measuring, and optimizing communications and PR strategy, goals, and tactics.Lead the Community Activation strategy for earned channels, ensuring synergy with paid activations and e-commerce to maximize coverage.Create and review media materials, including press releases, social messaging, thought-leadership content, and event/editorial calendars; oversee both organic and paid social media efforts.Manage earned media analytics and reporting, including tracking influencer campaign KPIs.Oversee earned media budget and ensure effective allocation.Stay informed on audience trends, cultural shifts, social media behaviors, and platform best practices.Serve as the point of contact for issues and crisis management.Distribute earned media best practices and act as the primary contact for PR agencies and local market needs.Provide strategic guidance for best-in-class event planning and execution.Portfolio/Brand CommunicationsManage agency relations, RFPs, and ensure adherence to agreements.Lead integrated communications strategy and issue management across brand touchpoints.Optimize relationships with communications agency partners and establish clear goals.Drive brand strategies for earned and paid creator partnerships to enhance earned media.Innovate 360-degree campaigns with marketing teams to strengthen brand consistency.Oversee corporate and brand initiatives, partnerships, and maximize brand awareness.Influencer/SocialBuild and strengthen brand presence in the influencer community.Develop paid influencer strategies for long-term relationships and earned media.Lead and inspire social and influencer strategy with a focus on innovation.Collaborate with teams to ensure alignment on influencer selection, paid media, and content.Oversee influencer engagements and social content strategy, focusing on video.MeasurementDrive data-driven measurement for influencer, social, and media impact.Manage analytics, reporting, and dashboards to share business results.Provide monthly insights and action roadmaps to leadership and teams.Qualifications:Education & ExperienceBachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or related field, or equivalent experience.5-7 years of experience in public relations and communications.Strong ability to generate innovative ideas and bring them to fruition.Skilled in driving brand buzz through earned, owned, and paid media.Able to lead cross-functional teams to execute high-growth marketing campaigns.Motivated by urgency and action, with a proactive approach.Experienced in coaching and mentoring teams.Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.Comfortable engaging with senior leadership.Proven success in designing and executing local and national PR campaigns.Experience as a company spokesperson and conducting media interviews.Skilled in event planning and execution.Strong client relationship management experience.Proficient in social media and influencer outreach, including platforms like FB and IG. Knowledge, Skills, & AbilitiesStrong storytelling and presentation skills for effective communication.Excellent verbal and written communication, organization, multitasking, and problem-solving.Proficient in Outlook and Excel.Ability to prioritize and manage workload independently.Experience creating integrated content across all marketing channels (digital, social, paid media, mobile, offline, print).Creative vision with a focus on business objectives.Strong ad copywriting skills for consumer communication.Expertise in SEO best practices.Ability to think strategically about customer acquisition and retention across the brand's 360° approach.JobID: 1081785 #LI-CELLA#LI-KD1#PLEqual Opportunity Employer: Race, Color, Religion, Sex, Sexual Orientation, Gender Identity, National Origin, Age, Genetic Information, Disability, Protected Veteran Status, or any other legally protected group status.At Cella, a randstad digital company, we welcome people of all abilities and want to ensure that our hiring and interview process meets the needs of all applicants.
