strategic and results-driven Director of Marketing & Growth

to lead our

paid media, customer acquisition, and retention efforts . This will be an

individual contributor role to start , with the expectation of

building and leading a marketing team

as the company grows.

Reporting directly to the CEO , this role comes with a

high degree of autonomy

and the expectation to

both drive strategy and execute on key marketing initiatives . This role is based in

Oceanside, CA , with the flexibility to be

in-office, hybrid, or fully remote

for the right candidate. Key Responsibilities

Growth & Strategy

Develop and execute a

comprehensive growth marketing strategy

across paid media, organic channels, and retention marketing. Lead

customer acquisition efforts

through paid advertising, social media, SEO, email, and partnerships. Identify new revenue opportunities and test innovative marketing strategies to scale brand awareness and conversion. Own

marketing KPIs , including CAC, ROAS, LTV, conversion rates, and customer retention metrics. Oversee and optimize

marketing budget allocation

to ensure maximum efficiency and profitability. Provide

regular reports and insights

to the CEO on campaign effectiveness, sales trends, and market opportunities. Define long-term

marketing objectives and roadmap

in alignment with overall business goals. Paid Advertising & Digital Marketing

Develop, manage, and optimize

Facebook/Meta Ads, Google Ads, TikTok Ads, and Pinterest Ads

to drive revenue and brand growth. Implement

A/B testing

on ad creatives, landing pages, and targeting strategies to improve campaign performance. Monitor

ROAS, CTR, CPA, and other key performance metrics , making data-driven decisions to scale campaigns. Lead

retargeting and audience segmentation

strategies to maximize lifetime value and improve conversion rates. Oversee marketing automation and

email marketing initiatives

to improve customer retention and repeat purchase rate. Brand & Community Growth

Lead

social media marketing efforts , including influencer partnerships and UGC-driven campaigns. Work closely with content and creative teams to

develop compelling brand messaging, ad creatives, and landing pages

that align with growth objectives. Identify and manage strategic partnerships to expand brand reach and improve brand equity. Stay ahead of digital marketing trends and new growth opportunities, implementing best practices in performance marketing, CRO, and retention. Leadership & Team Management

Start as an individual contributor , executing hands-on marketing initiatives while laying the groundwork for team expansion. Build, mentor, and manage

a high-performing

digital marketing team

as the company scales. Foster a

data-driven, performance-focused marketing culture , encouraging innovation and accountability. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product, operations, and leadership, to ensure marketing efforts align with business goals. Qualifications & Skills

6+ years of experience

in digital marketing, growth strategy, and paid media, with a strong track record of scaling e-commerce brands. Deep expertise in

Meta (Facebook/Instagram) Ads, Google Ads, TikTok Ads, and Pinterest Ads . Strong understanding of

customer acquisition, conversion rate optimization (CRO), and retention marketing . Strong data-driven mindset : Ability to analyze numbers and identify solutions from data insights; must be highly data-sensitive.

Starting from

key metrics to identify the root causes

of challenges. Providing

performance benchmarks

for evaluation. Consistently applying a

data-first approach

to decision-making.

Experience managing

marketing budgets and forecasting

for revenue growth and profitability. Proficiency in

data analytics, attribution modeling, and marketing performance tracking . Strong leadership skills, with experience

building and managing marketing teams

preferred. Hands-on experience with

Shopify, Klaviyo, Google Analytics, and marketing automation tools . Ability to thrive in a

fast-paced, high-growth environment
