Trinity Christian College seeks a full-time Audio-Visual Specialist. The Audio-Visual Specialist reports to the Audio-Visual Manager and assists in supporting all aspects and needs of audio-visual technology on campus.Salary Range: $45,000 - 55,000The essential duties and responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to the following:Set up and run all aspects of audio visual for live events on campus, including:Stage and house lightingMicrophonesHouse and monitor speakersHouse and streaming audio and video feeds (single and multi-camera)Mixing audio via digital audio boardVideo display and projectionSupport classroom technology solutionsRecord, edit, and produce audio of live and studio productionsMeet with internal and external clients to identify and support the AV needs of all campus conferences and eventsWork with consultants and vendors to configure and implement equipmentStay informed of the latest audio-visual trends and emerging technologiesQualifications:Technical SkillsDigital video camera operation and theoryUnderstanding of lighting techniques and color theoryConfigure and operate digital multi-channel audio mixerConfigure and operate a multi-channel video matrix switcherAudio and video input and output connections and specificationsAudio and video codecs and industry standardsSoftware SkillsFamiliar with Microsoft Windows and Mac OSComfortable using Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and OutlookAudio editing solutionsVideo streaming and conferencing solutionsPersonal SkillsHighly organizedDetail orientedPunctualEmphasis on customer and client serviceAble to adapt to a flexible and fluctuating work schedule that often involves events on nights or weekendsRemains calm under pressure during live eventsA bachelor's degree in Audio or Video Production or related program or high school diploma with a minimum of 3 years work experience in related field is required.Trinity Christian College seeks candidates that have a personal faith and commitment to Jesus Christ, and a sincere allegiance to the mission of the college.
