Job Description
The Executive Creative Director is the creative team leader. The ECD is responsible for elevating the creative output of the art directors and the day-to-day development of key art creative for marketing campaigns. The ECD will lead a strongly collaborative team in a fast-paced environment. The preferred candidate will have a minimum of 12 years’ experience as a Snr AD/CD, strong concepting & design skills, and the ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks. This position requires high-level creative thinking, conceptualization, problem-solving, and presentation.
Responsibilities & Duties
Concept for photo shoots, key art, digital, and outdoor advertising
Preliminary comp exploration and compositing
Complex revisions/refinements
Develop members of the team’s design skills through teamwork and creative feedback
Bring a fresh original perspective and a positive attitude to the work
Along with the account team, manage profitability of jobs
Additional responsibilities and duties may be added from time to time to better serve our client’s needs
Qualifications & Skills
Portfolio required for application submission
Expert skills with Photoshop and a working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, etc.)
Ability to collaborate and take direction from Creative Directors and clients
Capacity to visualize abstract concepts
Ability to organize work effectively in order to meet deadlines
Basic 3D skills, illustration, or photography interests are a plus!
Additional Information:
This position reports to the Head of Print
You must be able to make a daily commute 3 x per week to the office
Regular business hours are Mon-Fri 10am to 7pm.
The position is Exempt (salary) and annualized pay range is $170k - $190k. This is subject to change and may be modified in the future. Actual offers may vary based on work experience
