We have an immediate opening for an Associate Designer in our Brooklyn Park facility.

Title: Associate Designer

Location: Brooklyn Park, MN

Pay Range: Based on Experience $25-30/hr.

Job Overview: Collaborates with others on Design Team by creating designs and preparing engineering drawings related to process and equipment design to support the project team. Ensures Kurita America quality standards are maintained throughout the execution phase of projects. Acts as a technical resource for internal and external customers on design related items.

Responsibilities

    Reviews Sales proposals, estimates, quotes, customer plans and specifications to establish project requirements and create designs and preparing engineering drawings with oversight
  • Work with project team to review customer requirements for equipment size, function and process design to assure proper drawing representation with some oversight.
  • Assists with creating General Arrangement Drawings that are used to communicate critical design details to the project team and customer
  • Create fabrication/installation/assembly drawings for use by internal production team and external fabricators and contractors.
  • Ensure manufactured equipment conforms to project requirements and standard design
  • Assist in the development of new standard product offerings.
  • Performs special projects as assigned by supervisor
Qualifications
  • 0-2 years of water treatment experience or industrial equipment experience.
  • Two year Associate Degree, technical field preferred.
  • Experience in AutoCAD and Solidworks.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Physical and Mental requirements: Required to sit for extended periods of time.
