Flexicrew Technical Services (FTS) is hiring: Designer/Drafter in Metairie

Flexicrew Technical Services (FTS) is seeking a Designer/Drafter for three available positions—one in HVAC design and two in machinery design. We are looking for candidates with experience in Revit, SolidWorks, or BIM software to join our team.

Essential Duties:
• Create detailed technical drawings and schematics using Revit, SolidWorks, or BIM software.
• Collaborate with engineers and project managers to develop HVAC or machinery designs that meet project specifications.
• Review and modify designs based on customer requirements, industry standards, and compliance regulations.
• Ensure accuracy and quality control in all drafted designs.
• Maintain organized documentation of project drawings and revisions.
• Assist in design troubleshooting and provide support during project execution.

Requirements/Skills:
• Experience in HVAC or machinery drafting/design.
• Proficiency in Revit, SolidWorks, or BIM software.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in technical drawings.
• Ability to interpret engineering blueprints and technical documents.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Associate degree or certification in drafting, engineering technology, or related field preferred.

Physical Requirements:
• Ability to sit and work at a computer for extended periods.
• Occasional standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 25 lbs may be required.
