We are seeking a talented and experienced Womenswear Designer with a proven background in branded and licensed apparel, as well as women's sportswear, sweaters, and outerwear. A strong understanding of the off-price retail market is essential. In this role, you will create trend-driven collections that align with brand objectives and address the specific needs of off-price retailers. The ideal candidate will bring a creative mindset, technical expertise, and a deep understanding of designing across multiple product categories for this specialized market.

Key Responsibilities

Trend Research & Design Conduct thorough market research to identify key trends, fabrics, and silhouettes that appeal to off-price retailers. Develop seasonal concepts and collections aligned with licensing and branded apparel strategies. Design compelling womenswear pieces across sportswear, sweaters, and outerwear, ensuring a balance of trend and commercial viability. Create detailed sketches, CADs, and technical packages for production. Licensing Collaboration

Work closely with licensing partners to ensure compliance with brand guidelines while delivering fresh, innovative designs. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to align on product development and marketing strategies. Product Development & Execution

Oversee the end-to-end design process, from concept development through final approvals, ensuring adherence to timelines and quality standards. Partner with technical design and production teams to refine fit, construction, and fabrication for womenswear pieces across sportswear, sweaters, and outerwear. Retailer Engagement

Develop and present design concepts tailored to off-price retailers, ensuring alignment with market demands and retailer requirements. Incorporate retailer feedback while maintaining brand integrity. Cross-Functional Collaboration

Work with sales, merchandising, and marketing teams to develop cohesive collections that support business objectives. Monitor the performance of designs in the off-price market, leveraging data and feedback to refine future collections. Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design or a related field. 5+ years of womenswear design experience, with a focus on licensing, branded apparel, and off-price retail. Experience designing women's sportswear, sweaters, and outerwear. Strong trend forecasting and market analysis skills with the ability to create commercially successful collections. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, etc.) and other design tools. Deep understanding of fabrics, trims, and garment construction across multiple categories. Ability to manage multiple projects and competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Creative, detail-oriented, and highly collaborative, with strong communication and presentation skills. Compensation/Benefits:

The approximate annual base salary range for this position is $95,000.00 - $110,000.00, which can vary based on role requirements, skill set, and years of experience. Comprehensive benefits package including Medical, Dental, Vision, PTO, and company holidays.
