POSITION DESCRIPTION
Reporting to the VP of Marketing & Strategic Partnerships, the Digital Marketing Specialist will play a pivotal role in expanding the Chalmers Center's reach and revenue through effective marketing strategies. This position focuses on implementing and optimizing digital campaigns, creating compelling content, and supporting cross-departmental goals.
The Digital Marketing Specialist will manage day-to-day marketing activities, including email marketing, paid advertising, SEO, social media, and content creation, ensuring alignment with the Chalmers Center's mission and theological principles. This individual will thrive in a role that translates strategy into tactical execution, gets things done, and collaborates with teams to achieve measurable outcomes.
In addition to being a technically skilled marketer, the Digital Marketing Specialist will serve as a key team member to advance the Chalmers Center's influence as a thought leader in the Christian poverty alleviation space.

Digital Marketing Campaigns
Develop, implement, and optimize digital marketing campaigns to grow audience engagement and revenue. Manage paid advertising on Google Ads, Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn. Track and analyze campaign performance, reporting on key metrics. Content Creation & Management
Create theologically aligned digital content, including blogs, emails, videos, and social media posts. Collaborate with team members to produce content that supports strategic goals. Maintain and execute a content calendar to ensure consistent, high-quality output. Email Marketing & Automation
Manage email marketing efforts using Salesforce "Account Engagement" (formerly Pardot). Optimize campaigns for better engagement, segmentation, and automation. Website Optimization & SEO
Work with internal or external teams to optimize website performance and SEO. Ensure content is on-brand and aligned with digital marketing campaigns. Social Media Management
Plan and execute strategies to increase engagement and follower growth. Monitor and respond to audience interactions to build an active online community. Cross-Team Collaboration
Partner with other departments to support their goals through digital marketing initiatives. Leverage partnerships for co-branded campaigns, webinars, and events. Monitoring & Reporting
Measure success against key result indicators (KRIs), including email engagement, website traffic, lead generation, and campaign ROI. Prepare regular reports to assess effectiveness and inform future strategies. QUALIFICATIONS:
Education & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience). 2+ years of demonstrated success in digital marketing, with a focus on growing reach and revenue. Proficiency in tools such as Salesforce (or similar CRM), Google Ads, Google Analytics, and social media management platforms. Experience with email marketing platforms, automation tools, and A/B testing. Basic graphic design and video editing skills (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) are a plus. Strong understanding of SEO, SEM, and paid advertising best practices. A results-driven mindset with the ability to measure success and optimize strategies. Strong project management and organizational skills. Excellent written and verbal communication abilities. Ability to balance multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Strong theological alignment with the mission and values of the Chalmers Center. A collaborative team player, eager to make a kingdom impact.
