Patient Access Service Specialist - Prior Authorization

The Patient Access Service Specialist - Prior Authorization is responsible for obtaining prior authorizations for a variety of medical procedures, including ancillary services, surgeries, ambulatory care, and same-day add-ons. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in working with insurance carriers to efficiently secure necessary approvals and a thorough understanding of relevant insurance policies and regulations. This role requires exceptional communication and customer service skills to effectively engage with patients and healthcare providers while ensuring compliance with all authorization processes. Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently are essential for success in this position.

Eligible for medical coverage on your first day of employment, all other benefits will be effective the 1st of the month following hire date!

Requirements:

40 hours per week - First Shift

Monday to Friday from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm

High School Diploma or GED

Prior Registration Experience Preferred

Insurance Knowledge Preferred
