Certifications/Qualifications: Current clerk or on Civil Service eligible list preferred

Selected candidate must be in title or on the approved Clerk Civil Service list; if not, the candidate will be appointed provisionally and be required to take the exam once announced and score in the top three Working knowledge of office terminology, procedures and equipment Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and other clerical software Ability to work in a fast-paced office and maintain confidentiality Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to get along well with others Clerical aptitude, mental alertness, neatness, accuracy, tact and courtesy Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions Able to collaborate, prioritize and meet deadlines Have a positive attitude, team player, friendly and customer service oriented Must enjoy working with children 10-month position Salary per the CSEA contract Application Deadline: March 4, 2025
