We are seeking a Marketing Coordinator with a strong background in technical writing and editing to support our proposals, reports, marketing/production materials, and communications. The ideal candidate will have exceptional attention to detail, the ability to translate complex technical information into clear messaging, and a collaborative mindset. General responsibilities include:
- Collaborating closely with the marketing group to coordinate and produce high-quality proposals and qualifications. Utilization of corporate templates, extracting data from CRM database, writing, and editing narrative, completing proposal layout, and delivering materials in a timely manner.
- Prepare statement of qualifications and teaming requests.
- Maintaining marketing records and data in our CRM database.
- Independently review and package cost proposals in support of all project managers
- Back-up technical review of engineering reports for technical editor
- Preparing and maintaining various marketing materials as directed.
- Maintaining marketing and production records and files.
- Complete award submissions to grow brand exposure.
- Writing project descriptions and content for a variety of marketing uses.
- Working collaboratively with both the Marketing and Production Teams.
- Providing overall administrative support to marketing and production groups, including supporting a variety of projects.
- Conduct quality assurance checks on proposals and reports, including proofreading for grammar, punctuation, and style consistency, as well as verifying the accuracy of the content.
- Support website updates, social media development, and events committee tasks.
Required Skills / Abilities:
- Minimum of 3 years' A/E/C experience preferably demonstrating experience in a marketing coordinator role.
- BS or BA degree in Marketing, English, Journalism, Communication, or a related field is preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to successfully work with a diverse team of engineers through the proposal preparation and report review process.
- Work well within a team amid a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

- Adaptive and flexible to changing situations.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) and Microsoft Office applications are required.
- Self-motivated with ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
Position Requirements:
- Valid driver's license.
- GRI offers a hybrid work environment. This position requires three days in the office.
Physical Requirements:
- Use computers, tablets, and mobile devices.
- Perform physical tasks on project sites that may include walking, climbing, crawling, or standing for long periods of time.
- Lift up to 25 pounds at times.
- Travel for industry events (as needed).
