Job Requirements

Salesforce:

1. Participating in the full application life cycle: architecture, design, development, testing and deployment.
2. Create, maintain and optimize custom objects, validation rules, triggers, flows, Lightning components and Apex classes.
3. Design and implement APIs to connect Salesforce with external systems.
4. Integrate third-party applications with Salesforce using APIs and middleware.
5. Writing, testing, and deploying high-performance, reusable, and reliable Apex code.
6. Creating and customizing Lightning Components to enhance the user interface.
7. Designing data models and implementing Salesforce objects, including custom objects, fields, and relationships.
8. Contributing to options analyses, proof-of-concept implementations, and validations for proposed solutions.
9. Identifying risks, manage change, and design cloud solutions that are efficient and scalable.
10. Assist users with troubleshooting and resolving problems of the platform.
11. Documenting development processes, technical designs, and other relevant information to ensure team coverage and code maintainability.
12. Document and maintain technical processes, workflows, test plans, and code to ensure clear understanding and operational efficiency and manage a code repository.
13. Work with outside developers.

WordPress:

1. Responsible for maintaining and optimizing JHP’s WordPress website for speed, performance, and SEO.
2. Collaborate with the marketing team to identify and prioritize key web updates and features. Provide recommendations and solutions while driving the development process from concept to completion.
3. Maintain code, plugin, and theme updates while ensuring site speed and security.
4. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to website functionality and up-time.
5. Implement custom functionalities and features using WordPress plugins, themes and custom code.
6. Optimize website performance, focusing on site speed and responsiveness across various devices and screen sizes.
7. Conduct thorough testing and troubleshooting to identify and resolve any issues or bugs.
8. Stay updated on the latest trends, techniques, and best practices for WordPress development, as well as web design.
9. Manage back-end functionality, including server and database integration.
10. Create custom WordPress themes and plugins tailored to project needs.
11. Conduct performance testing to ensure optimal website operation.
12. Troubleshooting and resolve content-related issues or any potential issues that arise during the development process.
13. Be available for potential fight night events for system assistance.
14. Ensuring website function and stability across devices, i.e., desktop, mobile, etc.

Desired SF Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering or related field.
2. 2+ years of relative experience in Salesforce Development & Engineering.
3. Experience with web programming including HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
4. Experience of custom solutions on Salesforce platform working with Lightning Web Components, Apex Triggers, Apex Classes, Visualforce, SOQL.
5. Experience building REST APIs for external systems integrations.
6. Experience with object-oriented programming design patterns and Salesforce data modeling best practices.
7. Experience working on/with an Agile and SAFe team.
8. One or more Salesforce developer certifications: Developer I, Developer II, Platform App builder.

Desired Qualifications:

1. Strong understanding of PHP, WordPress, WordPress ACP.
2. Strong understanding of back-end tools like Composer, Yarn, Gulp, and Pantheon.
3. Ability to convert comprehensive layout and wireframes into working web pages.
4. Good understanding of website architecture and aesthetics.
5. Ability to manage projects.
