Job Description:
As part of the advertising support team, you will leverage your background and skills in marketing, project management, and customer service to assist with preparing presentations and proposals, following up on proposals, scheduling ads, and more.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with sales representatives on sales proposal and follow up for current and new accounts
Provide a high level of customer service to clients with effective communication, timely responses to requests and proactive resolution of potential issues
Assist with prospect identification, proposal preparation, contracts, and order entry
Attend weekly internal sales meetings
Attend sales calls as needed
Project manage creative requests and Newspaper Manager CRM requests.
Manage and prioritize work effectively to ensure internal deadlines, timetables and approvals are met
Assist with sponsored events as needed
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Background in developing, leading, and executing project plans, inclusive of deliverables, timelines, and milestones
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Creative and collaborative spirit, positive attitude, eager to learn
Ability to take direction from multiple stakeholders, balance numerous projects, and prioritize deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Ability to work independently but confident enough to ask for guidance and input when needed
Ability to manage confidential information
Highly proficient in Microsoft Office and Google applications
Experience with Newspaper Manager or another CRM is a plus

A competitive salary beginning at $50,000. Salary is commensurate with experience.

This is a full-time, 37.5 hours per week, in-office position, and we’re looking for local talent based in Greenville, SC. Please note that no relocation assistance will be provided.
