Pepper is a DTC fast-growing, unabashedly confident bra brand intentionally designed to celebrate small-chested bodies in all their glory. We’re on a mission to empower small-chested women of all body types to embrace the flat in flattering. Since launching our 470% funded Kickstarter in 2017, we’ve sold more than a million bras last year alone, and have gone viral and been featured in Cosmopolitan, Glamour, Forbes, Vogue, and more.

As one of the first Designers on our team, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of perfectly fitting products for an underserved market. This is your opportunity to think creatively, bring bold ideas to life, and design products that not only captivate customers but also drive financial success. Your work will directly impact how women experience confidence, comfort, and style, all while pushing the boundaries of the industry and redefining what's possible!
The Role. Collaborate with Design Director to develop seasonal trend and color concepts across multiple categories Design Development: Create commercially viable collections that balance trend, innovation and cost-efficiencies Trend Forecasting: Conduct market research to identify emerging trends in fabric, silhouettes and color; translating insights into compelling designs that resonate with our customer Print & Color Development: Manage print & color development to ensure final product meets brand expectations Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with merchandising, sourcing and production teams to build assortment and ensure feasibility in execution from concept to production Pre-Production: Adhere to Milestone calendar, tracking and advancing quarterly development requirements to ensure timely execution of design concepts Fit & Samples: Attend weekly fittings in the NY office, providing strategic feedback to ensure designs are aligned with overall product strategy Creative: Work closely with Creative and Brand teams to ensure design intent aligns with go to market strategy. Participate in hindsight analysis to assess product performance and gather insights for future collections Customer Feedback & insights: Gather & analyze customer feedback to continuously refine and improve product offerings, ensuring designs meet the evolving needs and preference of our target market Communication: Present design concepts to internal stakeholders, confidently incorporating feedback to refine designs and drive consensus across teams Requirements The perfect fit.
