Job Description
Mom League is a women-owned business headquartered in Winston-Salem, NC that is seeking a part-time Graphic Designer and Social Content Manager. The ideal candidate should have a passion for visual design, content creation and brand storytelling. This candidate also should have an understanding of social media trends and the ability to create visually appealing social content that drives brand engagement and sales.
This role will help with the following tasks:
Develop engaging and high-quality content on social media (primarily Instagram) such as in-feed, stories and reels.
Create new brand visual elements, including social media posts, iconography, illustrations and alternative logos that will be integrated into existing Brand Guidelines.
Create and edit other digital and print brand marketing materials such as flyers, posters, event invitations, slide decks, email templates and more to ensure adherence to Brand Guidelines.
Plan and maintain posting schedule as outlined in the Editorial Calendar.
Basic knowledge of social platforms and ability to monitor and analyze content performance.
Create and maintain organization of Digital Asset Library containing all brand-owned visual assets, including but not limited to: graphics, photography and brand templates.
Coordinate with the cross-functional team on requests related to brand assets.
Qualifications & Skills:
Skilled in Graphic Design, Marketing, Communications and/or Social Media.
Proficiency in graphic design and content creation tools such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, CapCut, or similar.
Basic knowledge of photography, videography, and video editing within social platforms.
Knowledge of digital marketing strategies, social media platforms, algorithms, analytics and best practices.
Creativity, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
A self-starter. Ability to work independently under little supervision as well as collaboratively within a team when needed.
Details:
This role will start out at 3-5 hours a week. We are looking for the right person who can grow with us as we grow and expand as a company. Potential to increase hours as company expands
Role will be paid hourly basis (1099 contractor) or can be in exchange for college credits.
Individual will work remotely on their own schedules, allowing for occasional in-person meetings 1-2x per month.
