Position Description (Brief summary)

The Senior Global Media Manager plays a pivotal role within Culligan’s Global Marketing Center of Excellence (CoE), leading strategic media planning, seamless execution, and ongoing optimization across multiple business units. We are seeking a forward-thinking individual with a strong strategic vision, innovative problem-solving skills, and exceptional project management abilities.

The ideal candidate must possess deep expertise in performance marketing and a proven ability to lead full-funnel media campaigns. They should also demonstrate creativity in maximizing media investments by exploring new channels. This role requires a collaborative relationship builder who excels at analytics and thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate is comfortable working independently while effectively partnering cross-functionally with internal teams—including creative marketing, social, and communications—and external stakeholders, such as agencies. They will bring a thoughtful media perspective to key decisions, ensuring media strategies drive impactful results and align with business objectives.

Key Position Responsibilities

· Develop and lead comprehensive, audience-driven media strategies that integrate traditional and digital channels to maximize performance, ROI, and business impact.

· Partner with business units and other cross functional partners, to understand unique objectives and translate them into actionable, results-driven media plans. Act as a strategic bridge between creative marketing, social, communications, and media agencies.

· Partner with CoE and BU marketing leaders, to evaluate platform and partner risks and relevance for our brand as the digital landscape evolves.

· Oversee end-to-end execution of media campaigns, ensuring flawless delivery across all touchpoints, while managing budgets, timelines, and resources effectively.

· Drive global efficiencies by managing media buying strategies that leverage economies of scale. Continuously optimize campaigns and partnerships to ensure cost-effectiveness and high performance across markets.

· Define and monitor media goals and KPIs, prepare performance forecasts, and analyze campaign outcomes. Implement data-driven optimizations to enhance efficiency, effectiveness, and overall impact.

· Drive innovation by designing and implementing test-and-learn scenarios that accelerate performance and keep media strategies ahead of industry trends.

· Build compelling, audience-led strategy materials and confidently present concise media recommendations to senior leaders and stakeholders.

· Serve as a thought leader within the Center of Excellence (CoE), fostering collaboration and sharing best practices to elevate media excellence across the organization.

· Manage relationships with media agencies, networks, and affiliates to ensure accountability, alignment with business objectives, and the development of premium advertising opportunities.

Skills

· Experience with Marketing Mix Models and Attribution Models, using insights to guide media decisions that deliver on business and marketing needs.

· Versed in media platforms (e.g., Google Ads, Meta, programmatic tools) and analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Tableau).

· Strong analytical skills to measure performance, interpret KPIs, and implement optimizations.

· Deep expertise in performance marketing and a proven ability to lead full-funnel media campaigns, with proven track record.

· Experience leveraging economies of scale and driving cost-effective strategies across markets.

· Ability to manage end-to-end execution, budgets, and multi-channel delivery.

· Exceptional relationship-building skills to align with internal teams, agencies, and partners.

· Creative problem-solving, thought leadership, and staying ahead of media trends.

· Effective storytelling and presentation skills to deliver strategic recommendations and manage multiple stakeholders across the globe.

Requirements

· 8+ years of proven experience in media planning, buying, and optimization across traditional and digital channels.

· Extensive experience in managing large -range media budgets, with a strong track record of delivering high-impact campaigns and maximizing ROI.

· Proven ability to drive global media strategies and deliver results across multiple business units and regions.

· Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Advertising, Communications, or a related field. A master’s degree or equivalent advanced qualifications is a plus.

· Experience leading and mentoring teams within a Center of Excellence (CoE) or similar structure, fostering collaboration, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement.

· Experience managing media at an agency AND in-house is a plus.

Compensation Package:

· $165k - $180k base salary plus bonus.

· This is a salaried, exempt position.
