Salary Details: $26.50 / hr 

Job Status: Full-time, Year-round Union

Position level: Mid-level

Shift/Schedule Requirements: Must be able to work a variety of shifts including nights, weekends, and holiday periods to meet business needs.

 

Animation Technicians support the repair & maintenance of the special effects systems throughout the park. Candidates are expected to work within a multitude of disciplines including, prop fabrication, theatrical lighting, painting, welding, electronics, fiberglass, etc.

• Complete daily inspections of park/ride special effects systems in a detailed and efficient manner. Complete necessary off-season maintenance. Answer calls throughout the day to repair and maintain the park/ride special effects systems.

Qualifications:

• High school graduate or GED.
• 2-3 Years experience in themed entertainment special effects/animation or equivalent.
• Ability to lift 50lbs.
• Must have valid driver’s license.
• Must join Laborers Union.
• Experience with animatronics and animatronic prop controllers preferred.
• Able to work at heights including catwalks, aerial lifts, crane baskets, scaffolding, and structure climb.
• Willing to work various shifts and days with the ability to work nights, weekends, and holiday periods to meet business needs.
