Volt is immediately hiring a Remote Program Manager/Technical Writer with a well-known industry leader. 
In this role you will be supporting the global Dental, Purification,Filtration, and Medical Surgical businesses.   
You will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world.

This is a first shift position.

As a Program Manager/Technical Writer you will:
  • Independently gathers and analyzes various sources of information and writes technical documentation that reflects clear understanding of project direction and goals, products, manufacturing and facility equipment, etc.
  • Serves on cross-functional teams responsible for global projects, attends team meetings, and maintains open communication between the team and other departments. Edits work for other writers.
  • Independently designs and writes clear, concise, accurate documents addressing the instructional and reference needs of specific customer audiences. Understands the audiences, tasks, and products assigned, in order to deliver information in the format, structure, and delivery method most usable and useful for the identified audience.
  • Utilizes project tracking tools to effectively communicate the status and where risks reside.
  • Collaborating with the cross functional teams and quality teams to ensure timely task execution in the following areas: risk management, change management, design controls, and test method development and validation.
  • Interacting with global manufacturing plants, distribution centers, and support functions to ensure successful product and manufacturing transfers globally.
Estimated Duration up to 24 months.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution. OR
  • High School Diploma/GED AND 4 years of experience within a quality manufacturing environment. 
  • Preferred Experience - 2-4 years of engineering experience in medical device industry

Pay Rate: $40-45.80 per hour
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
