Petro Outlet is a tried and true bootstrap company built and founded by Mohammad and Mahdi Hussein. Mahdi, since age 5, has been helping his father, Mohammad Hussein, a Palestinian immigrant who has been working in the retail business for over forty years. Throughout his life Mahdi saw the struggles his father pushed through to provide a better living for his family. They both had enough and built Petro Outlet, an affordable gas station back-office that allowed business owners to protect themselves from theft while also giving owners new technology to improve their business that they wouldn't otherwise have access to.
Years went by, conversations were had, and the Petro Outlet suite of Software Companies: Petro Outlet, SuperSonic POS and SuperSonic Pay, was born. These new prospects allow Petro Outlet/Super Sonic to be its own standalone retail solution that owners can use to run their business, their way. And with 100% US based, 24/7 support located in our Tampa location, owners can be sure to know that we'll take care of them, every step of the way.
Job Overview
As a core member of the Petro Outlet team, you will work directly with our founders, Mohammad and Mahdi, to drive the growth of our brand and take our marketing efforts from the ground up. While our software suite—Petro Outlet, SuperSonic POS, and SuperSonic Pay—provides independent gas station and convenience store owners with the tools they need to thrive, our marketing traction is still in its early stages. We’re looking for a self-starter with a relentless drive, ownership mentality, and a “figure-it-out” attitude to turn Petro Outlet into a household name among independent retailers.
Our customer base is a community of moms-and-pops, but they don’t have a strong online presence—traditional digital marketing won’t cut it. You’ll need to get creative, experiment with both online and offline strategies to market right in this industry.
Total Compensation is based on the base pay + commission from sales.
Core Requirements
- At least 3 years of Growth/Marketing experience in a high-growth B2B startup, with a track record of building a growth engine from scratch.
- Expert in Data Mining & Enrichment —our cold-calling sales team will rely on you to provide high-quality leads from day one.
- Proven experience launching Facebook campaigns from scratch, managing budgets of $10k+ per month , and optimizing for profitability and ROI.
- Hubspot expertise —you can build and analyze reports that lead to data-driven decisions. No guesswork, just results.
- Ability to identify and scale offline marketing channels —whether it’s networking at trade shows or building referral loops, you’ll find what works.
