Who you are:You are a wizard in an editing timeline, bringing stories to life with precision and creativity. You love creating compelling narratives in a variety of styles—whether it's a testimonial, mashup, sizzle reel, UGC, kinetic text, or even static product images. Fast, detail-oriented, and adaptable, you thrive in a high-energy startup environment where juggling multiple projects is the norm. You like making people laugh, but you LOVE getting them pumped up.
Job Responsibilities:- Edit high-quality video ads for paid social media campaigns (Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, TikTok) and e-commerce platforms (Amazon, Google Shopping)
- Create dynamic, eye-catching product videos that drive conversions and engagement
- Add motion graphics, sound effects, and text overlays to enhance video content
- Optimize video formats for various platforms to meet size, quality, and length specifications
- Work closely with the marketing and creative teams to meet brand guidelines and strategic goals
- Stay up-to-date with the latest video editing trends, trending audio, social media algorithms, and best practices
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines
- Proven experience in video editing, preferably for social media advertising and e-commerce platforms
- Previous experience editing video ads for a CPG company
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, Photoshop)
- Proficiency in cloud file storage management and sharing (DropBox, Google Drive, Air, etc)
- Strong sense of timing, visual storytelling, and pacing.
- Knowledge of sound design and color correction techniques
- Understanding of digital marketing concepts, including platform-specific requirements for Meta, YouTube, Google, and Amazon ads
- Ability to work quickly without sacrificing quality
- Flexibility to adapt with changing timelines and deliverables
- Strong organizational skills and a proactive, can-do attitude
- Experience editing fitness, sports, or lifestyle-related content
- Experience with motion graphics and general knowledge of After Effects
- Knowledge of SEO and optimization techniques for organic video content (non-paid)
- Familiarity with influencer marketing and UGC (User-Generated Content) editing
- Copywriting experience
