3D Artist Job at A1A Software LLC in Fernandina Beach

We are seeking a 3D Artist to join our team at A1A Software! You will create precise and functional 3D models for tower cranes and construction equipment within our proprietary software, while also contributing to Unity applications, VR crane simulators, and 3D printing projects.

Responsibilities:

• Create accurate 3D models of Tower Cranes and construction equipment based on CAD-like PDF drawings using precise measurements.
• Design and texture 3D assets using 3DS Max and Substance Painter for use in Unity applications and VR simulations.
• Produce clear and informative data graphics to support lift planning and fleet management tools.
• Optimize 3D assets for performance across platforms and maintain organized asset libraries.
• Collaborate with developers to meet technical and visual standards.
• Develop 3D models for 3D printing, such as joystick housings and other hardware components.

Qualifications:

• Proficiency in 3DS Max and Substance Painter for 3D modeling and texturing.
• Comfortable in creating 3D assets with a limited triangle count that strike a balance between visual quality and optimization for mobile devices.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and recreate models with exact measurements.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in technical modeling.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work both independently and within a team.

Bonus Skills:

• Experience building assets for Unity applications.
• Familiarity with mechanical modeling or construction equipment.
• Background in creating data visualizations or working with proprietary industry software.
• Familiarity with 3D printing processes and preparing models for manufacturing.
