Senior Public Relations Specialist - REMOTE

Scope of work: o Help *** land media coverage in security and technology publications, sharing the *** Secure Identity Commitment. This includes: Writing pitches, press releases, newsroom posts and other content Relationship building for *** with reporters, producers, and influencers Uncover pitching opportunities for *** executives, including storymining with other *** teams Understanding of trending topics in these industries to help influence the topics we pitch to reporters o Provide insights on ***'s global media strategy - including events, announcements and proactive thought leadership o Support the shaping of ***'s technology and security narratives and messaging shared with media o Provide coaching to *** executives on media best practices and constructive feedback to improve their interviewing skills 100% remote, open to a candidate anywhere in the U.S. within Pacific, Mountain, Central, or Eastern Time Zone Some domestic travel required (2-3x a year if support is needed at an event or ** Headquarters) Potential to extend High Trust Role - in-person onboarding in SF office required Written sample must be submitted with the resume •At least 7 years of experience in tech PR, with a focus on cybersecurity •Excellent written and verbal communication skills •Understanding of cybersecurity and B2B technology •Must already have security media relations experience with existing relationships with security and technology reporters •Ability to engage with and influence leaders and key comms partners. •Highly collaborative •Detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple, high-impact projects and deliverables
