Kitchen Designer Job at Oldja Enterprises Kitchen & Bath in Saint Petersburg

Oldja Enterprises Kitchen and Bath is looking to hire a full time (or possibly 30 hrs per week minimum) cabinet designer for our showroom located in St Petersburg. The primary duty of this position includes designing kitchens, vanities, and bar areas based upon measurements provided by the owner and emailing them to the owner using Pro Kitchen or 20-20 design software. 

Duties will also include meeting with prospective customers to assist in selecting materials and making revisions to the original design. Other duties will include assisting walk in customers, answering the phone and making granite or cabinet sales from our walk in customers. This position will work closely with the owner, who is a licensed general contractor as well as the office manager. The majority of our work is contracted directly with the homeowners, which helps eliminate communication errors. We do work with a select group of local contractors and builders as well, but the majority of our kitchen remodels are contracted directly with the homeowner.

The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of kitchen cabinet design experience as well as a strong knowledge of RTA and semi custom cabinets. We also offer full custom cabinetry, so knowledge of custom cabinets would be helpful too. The proper individual should also know how to price cabinets and granite/quartz countertops and will be taught our pricing system. The ideal candidate should also be a strong sales person and be able to close deals with an above average closing rate. We are a busy showroom with an excellent online reputation and multi tasking will be necessary. The ideal candidate must also be clean cut and present themselves in a professional manner at all times. Bilingual is also a plus.
