Summary
This position will develop and execute a social media strategy and strategic internal and external communications to achieve business objectives and brand building and expand reach. Key responsibilities include collaboration with multiple internal functions; content development and posting; reporting of analytics; audience engagement; and coordination of conferences, trade shows, and events.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute social media strategies for four affiliate companies; create posts in collaboration with marketing team and business function leaders; monitor, respond to, and engage with audiences on multiple platforms; track and report on engagement, impressions, and audience growth on a monthly basis
- Develop and format content and graphics for internal and marketing communications, i.e., digital ads, emails, intranet posts, presentations, newsletters, web copy
- Manage aspects of search engine marketing campaigns, including content development and reporting of analytics
- Update website content via content management system
- Maintain brand standards for all deliverables
- Assist with coordination of conferences and trade shows
- Occasional need for travel - Travel expenses paid by company.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in social media management in a corporate setting
- Bachelor's degree in social media management, digital marketing, media communications, or affiliated major
- Strong communication and project management skills
- Experienced in writing and editing - submission of writing samples required
- Ability to create basic graphics
- Proficiency with Adobe Creative software and Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel
