Media Research Planner
Job Summary
Bloom Ads is growing, and were looking for a motivated Media Research Planner to join our team. This role is responsible for conducting in-depth research on audience demographics, media consumption habits, geographic insights, industry trends, and competitor media strategies to support all aspects of media campaigns. The ideal candidate will work closely with media planners and buyers to develop data-driven campaign strategies and provide insights that enhance media planning and buying decisions.
This is an in-office position based in our Woodland Hills office.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Leverage tools and resources to conduct in-depth research on audience demographics, media consumption habits, geographic insights, industry trends, and all other relevant subject matter to support every facet of each media campaign.
- Analyze competitor media strategies and market positioning.
- Gather and interpret data from Nielsen, Comscore, TransUnion, Google Analytics, social media insights, and other available sources.
- Develop research reports and presentations to inform media buying and planning decisions.
- Work closely with media planners and buyers to ensure data-driven campaign strategies.
- Utilize tools like Excel, SPSS, Tableau, Salesforce Marketing Cloud Intelligence, and AI-driven analytics for predictive modeling.
- Stay updated on emerging media platforms, ad technologies, and consumer engagement trends.
- Assist in measuring the effectiveness of campaigns through post-campaign analysis and reporting.
Knowledge and Skills Required
- Strong data analysis and research skills, with experience in media metrics.
- Proficiency in media research tools (e.g., Nielsen, MRI-Simmons, Kantar, Google Trends, social listening tools).
- Ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Knowledge of advertising and media planning principles.
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Marketing, Communications, Media Studies, or a related field (preferred).
Compensation Range
$65,000 - $85,000/ year (Depending on Experience)
This is the pay range Bloom Ads reasonably expects it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the level of experience, relevant skills, professional certifications, market pay, and demand for the role. Bloom Ads reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time.
