JOB SUMMARY:
Assist the Green Bay Packers in all social media efforts, including official Packers accounts, Lambeau Field and other internal businesses. This is a one-year, paid internship and entails full-time weekdays, gamedays, holidays and special events.
Timeframe: June 2025 - June 2026
*Official start/end date is subject to change and will be dictated by the packers.
Job Responsibilities:
- Support Manager of Social Media in day-to-day management of all Packers social platforms.
- Assist with all social media efforts for the Green Bay Packers, including official Packers accounts, Lambeau Field and other internal businesses.
- Provide live social coverage on gamedays, and other Packers events.
- Update graphics templates using Adobe Photoshop and edit video using Adobe Premiere or Slate.
- Help the Packers' Digital & Social Media and Sales & Business Development teams execute revenue-generating opportunities on social media, including idea generation, content development and scheduling posts.
- Plan, edit, and post content with a focus on vertical video, under the guidance and approval of the social media team.
- Assist with monitoring and tracking Packers-related activity across all platforms.
- Utilize social media analytics tools to produce reports that evaluate the performance and effectiveness of social media campaigns.
- Assist with photography needs, including shooting, editing, curating, organizing and posting to social media.
- Collaborate with the social media team to identify potential influencers for the organization to work with.
- Prepare copy for social media posts that incorporate the organization's voice and tone.
- Assist with miscellaneous Packers Digital & Social Media projects as necessary.
- Undergraduate degree in related field preferred.
- Strong graphic design and video-editing skills, including experience with Adobe Photoshop, After Effects and Premiere Pro.
- Understanding of how to write copy, create content and post on each social platform.
- Strong writing skills with knowledge of AP Style is a plus.
- Ability to excel in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment as part of a team.
- Passionate about sports and knowledgeable about the Green Bay Packers' organization and the NFL.
- Willingness to learn about emerging forms of social media, industry trends and best practices.
- Ability to produce high-quality work while managing multiple projects under tight deadlines.
- Flexibility to work at all hours of the day, throughout the week and holidays (as needed).
- Ability to sit for extended periods of time.
- Ability to walk and stand for extended periods of time throughout the day.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 20 pounds.
- Ability to reach, stoop, and lift on a frequent basis.
- Ability to focus on projects for periods of time.
- Operates in a professional office environment.
- Role routinely uses standard office equipment.
